CUET, or Common University Entrance Test, is an all-India examination conducted by NTA or National Testing Agency for students seeking admission into different courses in 45 Central Universities. In CUET 2023, the domain subjects are the core subjects the student requires to qualify for admission into their chosen courses in a specific university. Tips for selecting domain subjects in CUET 

After understanding the domain-specific subjects in CUET, you need to understand how to choose the domain subject and how many you can choose. It has been identified that students can take 9 tests for CUET and choose 2 possible combinations. Here, the student can choose the number of languages and the number of domain subjects. 

• The student can choose the General Test from Section III, 5 domain subjects from Section II, and 3 languages from Section I.
• The student can choose the General Test from Section III, 6 domain subjects from Section II, and 2 languages from Section I.

When selecting your domain subjects, you must take care of interdisciplinary topics that are found in different domain-specific subjects. In those fields, you may find 2 sections where Section A is essential for all and Section B may involve many sub-sections. In section B, the student has the option to select one or more based on the eligibility or program requirements of the specific University. • The most difficult part of the CUET exam is the selection of the domain subjects. Thus, the student must understand their specific syllabus when selecting the domain. The syllabus is based on the class 12th subjects. 
• If you want to get a basic understanding, then you must go through NCERT subject books. These NCERT textbooks can help the student to strengthen their foundation. Usually, these textbooks cover all the important topics. After completing it, you can jump to some advanced-level books.
• When preparing for the domain subject, the student must list down the complete topics and complete the syllabus to ease the difficulty level. First, you can start with all the easy topics so that you can gain enough confidence to crack the exam. After that, you can jump to a more difficult topic to make it easy for your exam.
